Break into accounts with their own comic bookWITH THEIR OWN COMIC BOOK

Your emails get filtered and your mailers get binned. A comic book addressed to the buyer, starring the buyer, gets opened by the assistant, walked into the office, and talked about on the call you finally land.

Why this beats your best sequence

Be the one package that gets opened.

The assistant screening that inbox bins every mailer and deletes every sequence. A comic addressed to their boss, starring their boss, is the one thing on the desk that gets walked in rather than recycled.

  • Opened, not binned

It has their name on the cover. Nobody throws that out.

  • Walked into the office

The gatekeeper becomes the person who delivers it.

  • Still there at decision time

Your name is attached to every retelling of it.

Every other touch in the sequence looks the same

What lands in their post tray

  • The eleventh email in a cadence they muted after the third
  • A coffee card stapled to a calendar link
  • Branded merch that goes straight onto the office giveaway pile

What a comic does instead

  • Arrives as a package nobody in that office leaves unopened
  • Gives them a reason to email you first, for once
  • Gets forwarded around their team with your name on it

Break into the accountsthat ignore everything

The decision-maker you can't get a reply from has an assistant who screens every email and bins every mailer. A comic book addressed to them, starring them, gets opened, gets walked into their office, and gets talked about on the call you finally land.

Make the renewalfeel like a thank-you

The cheapest revenue you'll ever book is the client you already have. Send the comic at the milestone rather than the invoice — the anniversary, the launch they survived, the year they doubled — and the renewal call goes differently.

Pay back the personwho sold you internally

Somebody inside that account spent their own credibility arguing for you in a room you weren't in. Make them the hero of the deal they pushed through, and you have an advocate for the next budget cycle as well as this one.

The questions you're about to ask

Will their gift policy allow it?

That depends on the account, and it's worth checking before you order — plenty of companies cap what an employee may accept, and some public-sector and regulated buyers can't accept anything at all. A digital edition is often the workable option where a physical gift isn't.

Do we need the recipient's permission to use their photos?

Yes. Get the prospect or client's okay before sending us photos of them. It's their likeness, and their employer's rules may apply on top of that.

When in the cycle should we send it?

The two moments that work hardest are the account you've never broken into and the client you're about to renew. It's a door-opener and a thank-you; it doesn't do much sandwiched between a proposal and a redline.

Can we do a whole territory or account list?

Yes. One checkout covers a batch of recipients, and past that the volume form exists so we can quote timing and pricing for the run by hand — including shipping each comic direct to its own recipient.

Can you invoice us or work with a PO?

Checkout takes card payment today. If your finance team needs an invoice, a PO, or a W-9 first, email sales@theheroink.com and we'll sort it out with you.

What happens to what we send you about a client?

Photos and briefs are stored encrypted, used only to build that one comic, never used to train AI, never used in our own marketing, and deleted after delivery.
